Before you attend this workshop, it is expected that you attend the following workshop: “Introduction to coaching”.
Coaching is more than a tool - it’s a mindset. This second workshop in our coaching series explores what coaching really is, when it’s most effective, and how to use it informally in everyday conversations.
You’ll learn key coaching skills like active listening, purposeful questioning, and creating space for reflection. Through discussion, examples, and a live coaching demonstration, you’ll discover how to naturally integrate these techniques into your role as a manager.
We’ll also introduce a practical method for having informal coaching conversations that feel organic. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped to spot coaching opportunities, build confidence in using a coaching approach, and take the next step in your development.
This workshop relates to the following competencies outlined in the Competency Framework: Communication, Innovation, and Leading Others: drives performance.
