This workshop is the 2nd compulsory workshop (of 6) for the Preparing to Teach in Higher Education Programme (PTTHE) and explores links between theory and practice, specifically considering the learning benefits of interaction and participation, as well as identifying and evaluating a range of practical approaches. 

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of this workshop you should be able to: 

• Critically consider the context within which Higher Education sits to inform understanding of institutional and student expectations 
• Evaluate a range of approaches and learning activities designed to encourage student participation and learning
