Duration 0.5 days
Team Researcher Academy

This online course is run by the Researcher Academy as part of the Qualitative Methods in Practice Seminar Series

The Researcher Academy courses are very popular and the majority are run in both semesters to give you the opportunity to attend at a time of the year that suits you.

Target Audience: PGRs and ECRs who are interested in learning more about the application of qualitative research methods.

Process: Webinar - Presentation and discussion

Speaker: Professor Paul Crawford

Abstract:

Professor Paul Crawford has been at the forefront of interdisciplinary research initiatives since founding the global field of health humanities – investigating how the arts and humanities  inform and transform healthcare, health and wellbeing.
Most recently he has led two large AHRC-funded projects with strong interdisciplinary activity and engagement. First a study of the legendary Florence Nightingale and second, a campaign with Academy-award winning Aardman to advance mental health literacy among young people. Drawing on these and other work, Professor Crawford will discuss some of the challenges and the opportunities of living a research life beyond disciplinary borders.
