This online course is run by the Researcher Academy as part of the Qualitative Methods in Practice Seminar Series
The Researcher Academy courses are very popular and the majority are run in both semesters to give you the opportunity to attend at a time of the year that suits you.

Abstract:
In this session we will look at some examples of how to go about establishing themes within your data.
We will consider the differences between descriptive themes and analytical themes.
We will look at the way in which your research question will inform the questions you might ask of your data. We will look at how to write transparently about your thematic approach. We will consider how to present your data as evidence for your analysis.
