Target Audience:
Research-only staff (Postdoctoral researchers, Research Assistants/Associates, Research Fellows, Senior Research Fellows and Principle Research Fellows) from all Faculties.

Process: A webinar series of short talks followed by a Q&A session. Dates and times for these talks will vary, please see listing below for individual session descriptions and booking links.

Equipment required: ideally participants should have microphone and speaker to participate in the group discussions, and may wish to use a webcam too if available.   

Description of series: 

The Researcher Academy is proud to present the new ADAPT: Together webinar series aimed at research-only staff across the University.  

The ADAPT: Together series seeks to platform different perspectives and strategies for dealing with some of the hurdles experienced when building a research career, in the hope of generating an honest, supportive and constructive space. The series encompasses topics relevant for research careers in and beyond academia. 

Each weekly webinar features a different theme and the series will run initially throughout June and July. During the webinar your peers, including more senior colleagues, will be sharing meaningful aspects of their stories and discuss these with attendees. Each webinar will include a panel of speakers from across the University research community and will include short talks and the opportunity for Q&A as well as attendee discussions. 

Aims: This series seeks to platform different perspectives and strategies for dealing with some of the hurdles experienced when building a research career.  

Wherever possible, content from this webinar series will be recorded. However, we would like to make you aware that some of this material is not appropriate to record as it may contain personal or sensitive information, and will therefore be live-only.
