Aims/Objectives:

This course is designed for postgraduate research students and any staff with an interest in commercialisation. The principal aim is to help researchers understand the process of taking a research-based idea to commercial exploitation and raise their awareness of the support mechanisms in place within the university to help them explore possible commercialisation opportunities alighting from their own research activity.

After this course you will:

  • have seen examples of previous research ideas that have been made into products or services
Process: Practical interactive workshop led by a university employee based in the Commercialisation Office
