This online course is run by the Researcher Academy

The Researcher Academy courses are very popular and the majority are run in both semesters to give you the opportunity to attend at a time of the year that suits you. 

Target Audience: This course is open to staff or research PhD students who are interested in working with controlled data sets from Data Services such as the Uk Data Service - Secure Lab or the ONS Secure Research Service.

Description: 

Access to secure datasets is possible under controlled conditions.  The Safe Pod Network and UK Data Service provide opportunities for eligible researchers to analyse secure data. 

Aims & Learning Outcomes:

This session will outline the options available to you to access secure datasets from data centres within the Safe Pod Network. The second part of the session will introduce you to the UK Data Service Secure Lab, demonstrate what types of data can be accessed through the service and how to apply.
