This online session is run by the Researcher Academy as part of the Faculty of Social Sciences Training Programme

Target Audience: New postgraduate researchers from the Faculty of Social Sciences and those who would like an update on the Researcher Academy offer.

Course Description: 

Join Dr Nicola Middleton to learn about the many ways the Researcher Academy can support and empower you in your research journey. In this short, informal online session (delivered via MS Teams) you will be introduced to our inspiring programmes, learn how to book upcoming courses and events, begin to assess your immediate training and development needs and have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the opportunities and support available to you. 

The session will focus on the training and development opportunities relevant to postgraduate researchers in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

This is an online session within Microsoft Teams. On the day of the session please use the link in this email to join the meeting. Please do not click the link in this email until the day of the session.  

You will need a headset or speakers for the webinar and we recommend that you join 10 minutes before the webinar is due to start so that you can test them. Please mute your microphone, switch off your webcam and open the chat box function as you join the Teams meeting. Any questions can be asked via the chat box.
