Process: Talk and discussions
Description:
To ensure our research makes a meaningful contribution to society, it’s vital that we connect with the communities around us. Public engagement and involvement help us build stronger relationships, deepen our understanding of local priorities, and ultimately shape better, more relevant research.
In this seminar, you’ll be introduced to what engagement and involvement mean, how they differ, and why they matter. We’ll explore the roles they can play throughout the research cycle and discuss practical considerations for planning and delivering effective activities.
This session forms part of the "Engaging the Public" pathway.
