Description:
This session will include a presentation from Professor Richard Graham (Researcher Academy Associate Dean/Researcher Academy Faculty Lead) and will provide information on the end of first year Progression Viva. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and receive some general tips regarding this process.
This session is relevant only to first year research students registered in the Faculty of Science. The content is not relevant to students at other stages of their doctorate or those outside of this faculty.
We will be offering tea, coffee & cake after this session as a chance for PGRs to network and ask further questions in a more informal setting.
Aims/ Objectives:
This course will provide you with some general tips to enable you to be better prepared for your first year progression viva.
