Dr Blandine French, FHEA, Senior research fellow, School of psychology and Institute of Mental Health,
Dr French will explore her experience with Fake Participants in research, the integrity and quality impact on research data, and the work done so far to tackle this problem. The session will touch on the behaviours of fake participants such as Participants faking their lived-experience, taking part more than once, Exaggeration and Automated software application and past studies on this issue.
The session will explore challenges faced and strategies to adopt during life cycle of research projects.
