Research and Impact Highlights Programme - Medicine
Team Central Short Courses
Hosted by the Division of Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The School of Medicine Doctoral Programmes Committee and the Research Committee are supporting a series of events to showcase and celebrate excellent research and impact in the School, each in turn hosted by a Division in the School of Medicine. Please join us on 27 February 2020 to hear further about research, impact and innovations.
All Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences staff and Postgraduate Research Students welcome.
The first part of the session will be a seminar in which 2-3 researchers from the Division will speak about a world-leading output (paper or impact) including:
• The context of the output and a brief description • The journey to achieving the output • The team who contributed to the output • Where the research is going next
After the seminar component there will be tea, coffee and refreshments for attendees in the area of poster boards. During refreshments and networking there will be a showcase section where PGR students, technical services staff and early career researchers in the Divisions will present a poster, an innovation, website, PPI resource or other activities showcasing excellent research and impact activities in the Division.
The general agenda for the session will be as follows:-
