The School of Medicine and Doctoral Programmes Committee and the Research committee are supporting a series of events to showcase and celebrate excellent research and impact in the School, each in turn hosted by a Division on the School of Medicine.  Please join us on the 24th of March 2020 to hear further about research, impact and innovations from the division of Respiratory Medicine..

All faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences staff and Postgraduate Research Students welcome.

The first part of this session will be a seminar in which Professors Gisli Jenkins and Tim Harrison will speak about world-leading research and impact and how this is being achieved, including:

* The context of the output and a brief description
* The journey to achieving output
* The team who contributed to the output
* Where the research is going next

After the seminar component there will be tea, coffee and refreshments for attendees in the area of the poster boards.  During refreshments and networking there will be a showcase section where PGR students, technical services staff and early career researchers in the Division will present a poster, an innovation, website PPI resource or other activities showcasing excellent research and impact activities in the Division.

The general agenda for the session will be as follows:

10.00 - 10.05      Introduction from the Head of Divison
10.05 - 11.00      Presentation of world-leading research and/or impact from researchers in the Division
11.00- 12.00       Tea, coffee and refreshments during poster and technology presentations
