How do you interpret the term ‘research impact’? A policy or patent citation, peer review activities, scholarly citation, or online mentions?
This online session will introduce the concept of research impact, initially covering what it is and what forms it can take. Session attendees will be presented with some research impact case studies and then introduced to various platforms which contain research impact data and offer tips on how to interpret the data held. Lastly, we will look at how research impact data can be measured at both a researcher and institutional level.
