The session will include a generic introduction to immigration compliance for student visa holders, and we will help you understand your role in supporting immigration compliance as a supervisor. We’ll discuss common issues and use case studies to highlight areas of good practice and risk to the university’s immigration student sponsor licence.

This session is part of the Supervisor Seminar Series, providing supervisors with the opportunity to discuss experiences and processes and reflect on supervisory practice.  

 
 Who is it for? All colleagues engaged in formal and informal doctoral supervision. In addition to members of formal supervisory teams, assistant, co- and informal supervisors, including postdoctoral and research staff, research technical professionals and professional services.
