This workshop is for senior leaders at level 5 and above.
This course will cover how effective management of work relationships is critical to the success of individuals and teams. The quality of the relationships that you build are integral to how effective you are in this respect, noting that work relationships are also two-way.
This hands-on experiential session will use a bespoke case study to really explore what goes on in relationships at work.
This workshop relates to the “Communication”, “Innovation and Problem solving”, “Self-leadership”, “Collaboration”, “Adaptability and “Leading others: Promotes wellbeing and inclusion” competencies outlined in the Competency Framework.
Learning outcomes:
Understand why it is vital to pay attention to work relationships
Identify working relationships that need attention: new or existing ones that need to be improved or developed
Create action plans for improving perception of yourself, your team or your organisation
Highlight areas of individual focus for improving wider leadership skills such as negotiating, influencing or open conversations
Please be aware that this workshop is a discussion-based session with interactive exercises. You do not have to share anything you are not comfortable with but bear in mind you will be asked to reflect on your own experiences.
