Aims and Objectives

To familiarise you with requirements and expectations in scientific and technical writing. The course helps you to:

• Organise report sections correctly
• Describe materials and processes
• Choose appropriate tenses
• Write in a clear and concise manner

Process

Tutor input, individual and pairwork activities, writing tasks, opportunities to discuss difficulties with writing and examples of scientific or technical academic written work.

Who should attend

International undergraduate and masters students in Science or Engineering who feel they need to work on planning and writing their assignments.
