Target students: Students registered on postgraduate taught courses in the School of Medicine and related Schools. The course will be useful both for students writing dissertations and those writing a research article (RA) as part of a portfolio.
Duration: One week (three sessions)
Aims and objectives
The course covers the main components of a Masters dissertation in the School of Medicine and of an RA, including common language patterns/usages and rhetorical moves found in research articles published in health-related journals. You do not need to attend all sessions.
