Appraisees who need to prepare for their Appraisal & Development Conversations (ADCs) Meeting.
This eLearning module is intended for members of staff only.
Learning Outcomes
How to understand the wider strategic context in which everyone is working (via the balanced framework approach)
How to build confidence to discuss, agree and develop good quality objectives within the strategic context via the balanced framework templates)
How to construct and create good quality, meaningful and developmental objectives
Understand the importance of ongoing conversations supported by the annual ADC
How to discuss and explore 'how' work has been achieved as well as what has been achieved (using the Building a Culture for Success Guide as a tool to facilitate this conversation)
How to have effective discussions about developmental needs and opportunities (both in the short and longer term)
How the ADC cycle operates
Practical knowledge on how to fill out the form
Participants will be able to:
Describe the ADC process;
Understand their role within it;
Prepare for their ADC meeting with confidence;
Complete the ADC form correctly;
Write a set of SMART goals for the coming year (including both performance and development goals);.
