Annual Data Protection and Information Security Awareness (Online Course)
From Monday 14th October, staff will no longer have access to this compliance training course in CSC as the compliance courses are to be hosted in the Learning Module in Unicore for staff when Unicore goes live. If you have started a compliance course please ensure that you complete it before 14th October.
Overview:
This course is part of the All Staff Statutory Training. To help protect us all and the University, we provide annual Data Protection and Information Security awareness training for all staff at the University (UK). This training will help you understand the UK GDPR, how to keep our data (including personal data) safe, and how you can stay safe online.
In accordance with the University Data Protection Policy, all staff (including Associates and Post Graduate Researchers (PGRs)) at the University are expected and required to undertake statutory annual training on Data Protection and Information Security. This course is not required for PGT's and UG's.
Learning Outcomes:
Statutory training is defined as the training that the University is legally required to provide all employed staff as defined in law (and consequently legislation can be referenced) or where a statutory body has instructed us to provide training on the basis of legislation.
Please ensure that you complete this training within the first week of joining the University and consequently complete refresher training on an annual basis.
ALL STAFF STATUTORY Training also includes the following:
Fire Safety (Online Course)
Health and Safety Induction (Online Course)
Embracing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University of Nottingham (Online Course)
