Overview

This course provides an overview of the key elements of anti-bribery legislation that all staff need to be aware of and compliant with.  This supplements the University’s anti-bribery policy.   

Learning outcomes 

  • Be able to define bribery and recognise its various forms 
  • Identify the scope and application of the Bribery Act 2010 in the UK and overseas 
  • Implement effective measures for preventing bribery in the University 
  • Comprehend the legal and reputational consequences of engaging with bribery 
  • Apply your understanding of anti-bribery legislation to a range of real-world scenarios 

Who should complete this training 

This course forms part of the suite of compliance e-learning modules that all staff (plus Associates and Postgraduate Researchers – PGR's) are required to complete within 3 months of joining the University.   

Accessing the training 

If you are a staff member you should access this learning through your learning account in Unicore.  If you are an Associate, PGR or are required to complete this learning as part of your role and do not have a Unicore learning account you should access this training by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page and click book.
