Overview: The course provides an overview of the key elements of corporate manslaughter that staff will need to be aware of. It explores the relevance of the offense to University staff and the consequences for an organisation.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
Define corporate manslaughter.
Distinguish between organisational vs. individual accountability in corporate manslaughter cases.
Identify key determinants of corporate manslaughter.
Understand the concept of duty of care and breach of duty.
Explore strategies to manage and mitigate the risks associated with corporate manslaughter.
Target Audience: This training is aimed at all staff at the University.
Pass Mark: To complete this course you must view all of the content and answer a series of questions correctly. The score you achieve will not be shown on your training record - it will be displayed as "Complete" in the Status column
