Consumer Protection in Higher Education (Online Course)

Overview:

This eLearning module is designed to assist University of Nottingham staff and representatives in understanding what they need to know about the university's consumer protection responsibilities. 

This eLearning must be completed by all staff members and representatives who interact with, contribute to, or provide information to or for, prospective or current students.

Learning Objectives:

• Explain, in broad terms, what is meant by ‘consumer protection’ and how it relates to the University of Nottingham
• Explain their roles and responsibilities when it comes to consumer protection
• Explain what the impact will be on the University if it fails to meet its consumer protection responsibilities
• Know where to find, and follow, the University’s Consumer Protection Policy and Procedures
• Know who to contact if there are any questions relating to consumer protection compliance
