Modern Slavery compliance training

Overview 

This course provides a summary of the key elements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 that all staff need to be aware of.   

Learning outcomes 

  • Be able to describe the university’s obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 
  • Describe what modern slavery and human trafficking are  
  • Identify signs to look out for where someone might be involved in modern slavery 
  • Understand your responsibilities as a member of staff at the University 

Who should complete this training 

This course forms part of the suite of compliance e-learning modules that all staff (plus Associates and Postgraduate Researchers – PGR's) are required to complete within 3 months of joining the University.   

Accessing the training 

If you are a staff member you should access this learning through your learning account in Unicore.  If you are an Associate, PGR or are required to complete this learning as part of your role and do not have a Unicore learning account you should access this training by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page and click book.
