Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand the difference between Office Online and the desktop Office client
  • Sign-in to Office Online
  • Starting online and how it can help you (aka the “Waffle”)
  • Use OneDrive to:
    • Upload, open and preview files
    • Collaborate, internally or externally, using share and copy link
    • Delete and restore files
    • Manage the recycle bin and the second stage recycle bin
    • Move, copy and rename files
    • Restore or view previous versions of files
    • Manage file sharing settings
  • Work with Online Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Pre-Requisites:
The training is aimed at those who are familiar with using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

To participate in this session you will need to access Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) and you will need to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) before the session starts.

This session will focus on the PC/ Windows use of Microsoft 365.
