  • Learn how important the structure of a site is both to the web user and search engines
  • Understand why web content needs to differ from content in print
  • Understand the importance of writing appropriately for the web and the University's audience
  • Look at page design elements and how to use them effectively to make a web page effective
  • Understand how to create and manage pages in the Contensis CMS
  • Know how to create content in CMS pages
  • Learn how to create and manage hyperlinks
  • Discover how to use images, snippets and mini templates
  • Learn how to import documents
  • Understand the Contensis workflow system and levels of authority

Who Should Attend:
Members of staff who have permission to use the Contensis Content Management System to edit or create pages on the University's websites. Before booking onto this course you need to check with the Web Coordinator for your Departments to see if they are eligible to attend.

Process:

Course Leader input, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions.
