Description:
This online course delivered in Moodle links to the JISC discovery tool. Engaging with the discovery tool will enable you to explore the six elements of 'digital capability' which underpin the skills and attitudes you need to engage in effective and safe digital practice in today’s world, and in the academic research environment.
Through answering the questions in the Discovery tool you will:
- assess your confidence and capability in the areas relevant to your own research and personal development needs.
- receive a personal report which signposts actions and resources that you can use to further enhance your digital capabilities.
Aim:
To encourage researchers to develop their digital capabilities by:
- Identifying current strengths and areas for development
- Providing a personalised report with suggested next steps and resources
- Encouraging the development of digital priorities
This is a standalone (self-study) online course. This course is delivered entirely online via Moodle and is self-study. You may access the course as often as you like until the end of the academic year.
