Process: Awareness raising and information session.
Session Description:
Following on from the successful opening workshop on ‘Enhancing the Taught Postgraduate Experience’, led by Michelle Morgan from the University of Bournemouth on Friday 30th November (slides and supporting materials available here), we are pleased to announce the second of this year’s PGT workshops focussing on ‘Innovations at the University of Nottingham – Perspectives from Arts, Science and Engineering’. In this workshop, PGT leads from the Faculties of Arts, Science and Engineering will present major recent enhancements to the education and student experience of taught postgraduate students across three of the five Faculties in the University. The aim of this workshop is to identify models of good practice in the institution, and to explore how we might share and learn from that practice more widely across the institution. Input from academic and professional services staff from across the University, as well as the Student Union, will be particularly welcome at this event. Please feel free to attend only parts of the workshop, if you have other commitments during part of it, but we would be grateful if you could register your attendance using the facility below.
This session will be given by Prof. Jonathan Tallant and Dr David Laven (Arts), David Large (Engineering), and Dr Harriet Allen (Science).
The location for the course is Room C42, The Dearing Building, Jubilee Campus
