Course Description

Literature Searching and the Literature Review
is an online course developed by the Graduate School and Libraries for postgraduate researchers who are working on a literature review for their thesis.  It has been designed to support your success in writing your literature review, from discovering the literature to creating a writing plan.

The course is designed for you to follow at your own pace at a time that suits you. You will be assessed on your submission of a portfolio document, which you will fill in at each stage of the course. Training points and certificates of completion will be awarded once all of the activities have been completed, videos watched, and a full portfolio submitted. We hope that the portfolio will help you and your supervisor in the planning of your own literature review.
