Description

This course is for you if you've very little experience of the skills of assertiveness and negotiation. We'll help you to think about your use of these skills in your current research context and how you will continue to use them in the future. This course is NOT for you if you feel that you have experience of using these skills.

This course will help you to develop skills useful for your current situation as a researcher, job interviews and recruitment procedures (particularly assessment centres) and a huge range of employment contexts. This course concentrates initially on developing and practising assertiveness skills and then moves onto negotiation situations and skills.
