To study this course you must have access to the internet and use a University of Nottingham email account.

This is a standalone (self-study) online course. This course is delivered entirely online via an external host. You may access the course as often as you like.

This could be your first introduction to Research Integrity before exploring the more detailed Research Integrity course, or a refresher for the more experienced.

The course consists of a core module which is an overview of the responsible conduct of research and the challenges researchers face in meeting them and five optional modules.

Optional modules include:

  1. Human subjects protections
  2. The humane use and care of animals in research
  3. Conflict of interest
  4. Safety and health
  5. Intellectual property

The course is short and easy to digest, covers the basics and could help any greater learning needs. There is no University of Nottingham specific content. The entire course takes approx. 45 minutes to complete.
