Healthy lunches - Self-care: its relevance to health and how to practice

This short workshop will offer you a chance to explore what ‘self-care’ is and how it helps us to maintain our physical and mental health. There will be the opportunity to experience a short meditation to explore this as one approach to self-care.

Tutor: Sue Cooper - Sue is a meditation teacher, an integrative health and wellbeing instructor and a registered nurse. She has previously served as the High Sheriff of Nottingham's Health & Wellbeing Ambassador for Nottinghamshire. Her integrated approaches to the "wellness" of body and mind draw on recent scientific evidence on human nervous systems.

Please note – this session is 45 minutes in length to allow those staff with an hour lunchbreak to access the session.
