Who should attend 

Academics with policy-relevant research who want to create a policy brief document to support their policy impact work, and APM staff who support academics on impact work. 

This webinar session is primarily intended for staff based in UNNC and UNM, but UK-based staff are also welcome to join. 

Learning Outcomes 

This 1 hour webinar will explore what a policy brief aims to do and why academics should consider creating them, what it should look like, and what content is most effective. 

 
Participants will: 

• Learn how creating a policy brief can support their policy impact work 
• Understand the objectives of a policy brief and how to use them 
• Learn the principles of good content and good visuals for a policy brief 
• Learn where to go for more support
