We offer two ways to study for this qualification – both routes have a total of two days of workshops. We also offer a programme delivered over 2 days - for details of the dates for the two day programme.

Becoming a Mental Health First Aider
This course allows you to be qualified as a Mental Health First Aider for Adults. This is a nationally recognised qualification designed by Mental Health First Aid England. Mental Health First Aiders at the University are able to join the UoN MHFA network for professional development and support.

How much does it cost?
This course has a value of £300 per person which will be met by Professional Development. However, if you book a place and do not attend, we will need to pass on the cost for the training resources to your area. Similarly if you cancel your place within one week of course starting you will be charged. Charge will be £25.00 per person.
Who is your MHFA Instructor?
Your instructor will be a member of staff from the University of Nottingham who has been trained to deliver this course in line with MHFA England’s quality standards.
