Session description

The focus of this workshop is for those colleagues who are considering developing a claim for recognition as Principal Fellow for their sustained contribution to, and influence on, teaching and learning strategy in pursuit of a high quality student learning experience. There will be briefing, followed by a focus on developing an individual Record of Educational Impact as a cornerstone for a final submission. This will be a practical opportunity to beginning planning your journey to Principal Fellowship and to reflect with peers on how your practice might align with D4.

At the end of the session you will have developed a more effective understanding of:

• The descriptor for Principal Fellow and requirements for submitting a claim to Advance HE
• The purpose and outcome from the Advance HE Fellowship Tool
• How best to evidence the criteria for Descriptor 4
• Key features of an effective Record of Educational Impact
