This course teaches you to post Agresso journals, from completing the BIF template to the posting.

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at finance staff that are required to post journals using BIFs as part of their role.

Objectives

By the end of the session you should

• Have a good overview of the process of posting Agresso journals
• Know how a manual journal is posted
• Understand and be able to use BIFs:
• What a BIF is
• A guide to the BIF template
• How to create, post and fix a BIF
• Be able to perform currency postings
• Understand what registered journals are

Prerequisites to the course

To get the most of the course, you should:

• Be familiar with Excel and Agresso
• Have the Batch Input Formatter and Excelerator installed in Excel (desktop); Agresso UBW Smart Client access.

Ideally – you will have attended the Agresso Foundation course or have knowledge of the basic posting attributes / General Ledger. However this is not essential.
