The requirements for managing health and safety risks using a practical programme, full of step-by-step guidance. The innovative format and content engages and inspires staff which is critical to getting health and safety embedded across the University.

Controlling risks
Understanding responsibilities
Understanding hazards
Investigating incidents
Measuring performance.
Every delegate will receive an IOSH Managing Safely Workbook. To be successful the delegates are required to complete an end of course assessment and workplace project (within two weeks of the end of the course). Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
Who should attend: University line managers and supervisors. This course is only for employees of the University, it is not applicable to students or non-University staff.
Cost of attendance: There is a cost of £100 per delegate attending this course. Please forward a finance code to Paula.Campbell@nottingham.ac.uk prior to the commencement of the course, so the cost can be recharged to the respective school.
