‘How to use Linux on the UoN HPC is aimed at researchers who want to use the UoN HPC system, but have no knowledge of Linux, which is the operating system on the HPC system. The course covers how to logon to the HPC system, and basic Linux commands needed to manage files, and submit jobs on the HPC. It includes hands-on exercises, including submitting an example job.

This course can be used as a pre-requisite to the How to use the UoN HPC course, which goes into greater depth in using the HPC.
