Course Description:

Placements are an important and integral part of many programmes. Disabled students will need reasonable adjustments to support their learning on placements, and this workshop considers all aspects of completing a placement as a disabled student, from application and recruitment onwards.


Learning outcomes
:

  • Discuss and identify support needed through reasonable adjustments across a range of placements;
  • Identify best practice in supporting disabled students on placement;
  • Consider the practical aspects of providing reasonable adjustments to support disabled students on placement.
