Course Description:

Participants will learn how to lead an audience, keep them engaged and deliver innovative and exciting presentations using a range of performance techniques. Emphasis will be placed on taking a stand, and improving verbal and non-verbal skills. This session is hands on, practical, and fun, so be prepared to get involved,get creative, and take a stand!

Course Tutor:

Alison Davies is an experienced trainer and creative practitioner. An author of thirteen books on a range of subjects and a professional storyteller, Alison delivers workshops for both the public and private sector throughout the UK. She has been involved in a number of ground-breaking projects using narratives, in particular working with the law school at Leicester University and delivering seminars using storytelling and presentation techniques as part of legal ethics seminars. She also writes for a selection of magazines, newspapers and educational journals. Her goal is to encourage a creative approach in all aspects of teaching and learning.
