Process
A short 2 hour session led by a panel of experienced editors.

Description
This event is designed to raise your awareness and understanding of the process of getting your work published in journals so that you are better prepared to meet the expectations of editors and reviewers. A panel of experienced editors from the Faculty of Science will discuss topics such as: strategies for getting published; getting your paper ready for submission; handling reviewers comments and revisions.

The editors taking part are:

Presentations from the panel will be followed by a question and answer session and the opportunity to talk informally over a buffet lunch.

If this course is full, please add your name to the waiting list, so that we can judge the demand for further sessions.

N.B. BIOSCIENCE STUDENTS - There is another "Meet the Editors" event in Sutton Bonington on *date* 2011. You are welcome to sign up for this current event but you may prefer to wait until April for a more local venue.

This is an opportunity to hear experienced editors talk about the process of getting work published in journals. There will also be time to ask questions of the panel and to talk informally with individual members.
