Pre-Requisites:
To fully participate in this course you MUST have Skype for Business 2016. If you are unsure which version you have, please check your version using this Microsoft support article. The current version installed in training rooms is MSO (16.0.4639.1000) 32-bit. If you do not have this version please contact your Campus IT Support Team to arrange for it to be installed.
You must already have a headset / microphone and webcam - just a pair of ordinary headphones is NOT sufficient. You are also strongly advised to test your audio and video settings before the start of the training session using the details published on the Set Audio Device options in Skype for Business webpage created by Microsoft.
Process: Participation in the course will be entirely online using your own computer, headset / microphone and webcam. Further instructions will be emailed to you prior to the course detailing how to connect to the Skype for Business 2016 meeting.
During the course you will have the opportunity to try out the meeting features within Skype for Business 2016 as a meeting participant. You will find out how to setup a meeting and share content with other participants.
