Learning Outcomes: At the completion of this course you should be able to:
Create a structure for a long document to aid automation (eg table of contents, page and section numbering, captions and references)
Use a range of formatting techniques to position text and paragraphs
Define and modify multi-level lists
Apply and manage styles
Change or add levels in a table of contents
Learn how to work with section breaks
Customise number formatting across sections/chapters in footers
Work with captions
Create and delete cross-references
Working with the navigation view and collapsing document headings
Please Note: The course is designed to build on the skills acquired as part of the “Microsoft Word – Foundation of Document Creation” course. Therefore you are strongly recommended to attend this course, or be confident that you can demonstrate proficiency in these skills.
